These are VERY big, they fit very loose almost like a 7 or 8X
The waist has very little stretch
The drawstring is;
~ on the outside of the shorts, visually unpleasant
~ very slippery making knots not want to hold
~ not long enough, had to tie large knots to keep the cord from pulling into the shorts
The tags, normally on almost all clothing in the back, are on the front right side, confusing when dressing
The pros included very nice quality fabric, great length, nice deep pockets, they feel good against the skin.

If you are looking for that OLD school So Cal Vato Loco look. Then you have arrived!
They are thin top material. Flat sole (inside) borderline cheesy, but I love them! Little step on heel has a little cush. So flimsy, can slip them on while they are tied. Convenient, with that classic look. No running Holmes.

I like the shoes. They're a little stiff at first because of the thick, rigid soles, but that will work for me as I walk at least 100 miles per week, so I'm looking for durability. I'll break them in slowly to avoid foot problems. I expect these to be my winter walking shoes.

Good foot and arch support, which I need, because my feet were surgically repaired years ago and I have lots of foot problems.
