The Air Jordan 1 High “Volt Gold” is a “do-it-yourself” inspired colorway of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe that was released by Jordan Brand in early 2021. Crafted in the spirit of Off-White and Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed Air Jordan 1s from the coveted “The 10” collection, the “Volt Gold” features contrasting hues of neon yellow and gold on its design, as well as "overcut" leather panels that extend past the stitching. White leather can be found on the perforated toe and mid-panel. Contrasting black leather appears on the forefoot, toe cap, and eyelets. A black “Wings” logo can be found on the Volt collar overlay and a black Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. Additional details include a gold leather panel on the heel, cream shoe laces, and a vintage-inspired cream midsole. An inverted orange-tinted translucent “Nike Air” tongue tag appears on the cream nylon tongue. Release date: January 9, 2021.

I only ordered these because I found a great deal on them. Normally I would have passed, but I love Simple brand shoes and figured it was worth the risk. I'm really glad that I did, because I like them much better then I expected. They look better in person then in the pictures and they're very comfortable.

I'd say that they fit true-to-size, although if you're in between sizes, I'd suggest that you go with the larger one. The width is pretty average too. I do wish these had more arch support, but they're not bad as is.

Overall, I'm as pleased as I always have been in the past with this brand.

My husband and I bought a pair of these each and we enjoy wearing them around. We are old kids, I suppose, because we are not kids. The shoes change colors, blink, and do all sorts of things - so much fun especially outside at night. And they are so comfortable to wear!!!!!

I don't know, as of this review, how much these shoes cost, but they are very nice leather shoes. Hubs and I went shoe shopping yesterday to get him a nice pair of dress shoes and we spent a good amount on them and they were on sale. But every man deserves at least 2 pairs of very nice dress shoes. This pair of ankle boot shoes are very well made, and the leather is gorgeous and deep brown. The soles are should last a long time and look very durable. Hubs thinks there should be one more set of eyelets, but I think the two are very attractive and stylish. I received a size 9M for review and usually he wears 9W but these shoes were a little loose on his feet. They are more like 9.5 but he can still wear them. Since they are new and stiff, he can't say they are particularly comfortable right now as they need to be broken in.

This review is for size 12. It is comfortable for walking and working in my yard. Breathable and skin-friendly material keeps foot dry. These shoes are tough that ensure the flexible movement and cushioning effect. I am 190 pounds and it works for me. I used to get shin splints while jogging, but these have been holding in well. They got as expected & were a great price for the value.

I am an 8.5 6-8E (US mens shoe size), which is an extremely wide size. These, at 8.5 5E are among very few shoes that are almost wide enough for me without being crazy long. They also breathe very well and seem well built. That said, the glued-in insole is terrible and my feet hurt right now after spending most of the day on my feet, which has been the trend for the 2 months I've had these.

The fit is almost perfect, just a tiny bit tight and narrow.
