The Nike Air Force 1 Low “What the LA” is a special mismatched design dedicated to the Los Angeles-area professional sports franchises. For the first time ever, team uniform colors of the Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Dodgers, and more collide on one sneaker. The “What the LA” Air Force 1 uses a leather upper with vibrant contrasting colors that cover each panel of the shoe. Different colors and textures are found on each side Swoosh, while “Los Angeles” is written in script lettering on each heel. Mini embroidered Swoosh branding is added to the forefoot. Both midsoles of the “What the LA” Air Force 1 don a speckled motif, and the outsoles complete the mismatched theme with different shades of translucent rubber. Puma's are nice shoes that always fit me great. They're also easy to find on sale, which makes them the price/performance king. They look quite nice, as well!

I purchased these to replace some Nike Sweet's that were a little too big for me. I think the Nike Sweet is a nicer shoe (more padding and softer, thicker leather, etc), but they also cost more. These Puma's are tagged the same size as the Nike's, but they run a little smaller (the footprint does appear a little wider, though). I own several pairs of Puma Suede's and these run about the same size as the Suede does.

Even though I think the Nike Sweet is a better made shoe, there's something about these that I just like better. For one, I think they look better and I'm just more comfortable in them. I wore the Sweet regularly as a kid, back when Nike originally released them, so that's why I purchased them first. When they didn't fit, I purchased the Match 74 to replace them and I couldn't be happier with them.

However I never really enjoy them until now. I have difficulty with my legs and feet, and need to pay special attention to them. Walking, with a cane now, is not what it used to be. While I could walk 5 miles and never be concerned, I smashed my left ankle several years ago, and walking isn't that easy anymore. These shoes by Rockport not only fit right out of the box but were so comfortable I am enjoying my walks every day. I think they look great, but Rockport provides many choices. I highly recommend these shoes.

The shoes look great but they are just black with shiny black squares, not charcoal and black like in the picture. Also if you're half size shoe person , like me, order the half size up. Typically I am a size 7.5, so that's what I ordered. The shoes were nearly impossible to put on. It was a very tight squeeze and my toes were a little cramped. I am going to try to exchange it for a size eight. I suggest actually going to a store if you can. I wish I could have.

TL;DR round up your shoe size when ordering (7.5 -> 8)

Very comfortable shoes. They seem to get more comfortable each time you wear them. Only issue is that you will need socks that cover your heel as the back of the shoe will rub it raw.
