In a surprising turn of events, Jordan Brand brings back one-half of the “Old Love, New Love” Pack. This 2017 release sees the black and yellow Air Jordan 1 Mid become an option, as opposed to the counterpart of an AJ 1 Mid in the original Black Toe colorway. The shoe returns just as we remember it, with the same mid-top silhouette, jeweled wings logos, Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel, and a clear yellow outsole. The upper is constructed with a combination of premium black suede and yellow leather. The original “Old Love, New Love” Pack dropped in 2007.

For 20$ these are a steal. They're decent plain white kicks that go with anything. Clearly not the highest quality but if they last 6 months I'll be happy.

I have the “Black Nappa” color.

These are very stylish shoes. A little “fancier” than other such sneakers. But they are not really lightweight. They weigh about a pound each.

The sole is rubber, which is 1 of the reasons the shoe is as heavy as it is. Nice tread on the bottom.

The footbed has nice padding, but as it shows on the listing it is “dense”. Another words it is fairly firm padding. There is slight arch support. Almost nonexistent. There is some padding around the ankle.

I think of the shoes more as casual shoes and certainly not a sports shoe. But they look really great, and I like them a lot.

Because of the way this shoe is designed (having the elastic wedges) it's sort of impossible to lace these tight enough so your heel doesn't slip around a little when you walk. This isn't a huge deal if you want these for hanging out, office wear. But don't plan to walk much further than down the hall to the water cooler without some discomfort. They fit a little snug width wise, if you like thick socks, try a size up.

I do not care anymore for status symbols on my shoes, these are the best I have ever bought. When I visited Germany and Austria I took these with me and was surprised how popular they are in those countries. For some unknown reason these same shoes cost more in Europe .

Love how easy and comfortable these shoes are. Thought the toe box was not high enough for my toes but I put some marble eggs in them for a week (they are smooth and heavy) to stretch the toe area up some and this worked great. Don't know why the shoe maker thinks our toes taper down--nope! Still love them though!
