The Women’s Air Jordan 1 Mid “Iridescent” is a flashy look for the women’s sizing of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe in mid-top form. The unique appearance of the release can be attributed to the iridescent leather collar and heel which emits a reflective shine. Barely Rose suede covers the mid-panel, toe cap, and collar. A dotted black nylon Swoosh contrasts the mid-panel. Additional black nylon appears on the perforated toe and tongue. Jordan Brand finishes off the midsole in a tonal hue that syncs with the pale pink suede base of the shoe.

These shoes are just like the ones you see in the dollar store, only the quality is far better. I liked the fact the soles were a bit thicker, and that the insoles were cushiony and comfortable. The best part about these shoes is that they are made of canvas, and are great for art projects-specifically for painting. I use an acrylic paint, and it applies so nicely to the shoe. The sizing is close to American sizing, albeit just a tad narrower. They wash well, and hold up fairly well as a daily wear. Not a bad deal at all on these kicks!

Great shoes that fit well and are very comfy. They do not hit my ankle when I walk. They don't have a lot of padding like a running or walking shoe, yet are very comfortable on a walk. I have worn them on a 5 mile fitness walk and they were good. I also have bunions and they do not have straps that hurt my feet like some shoes. I usually wear them for casual wear with pants.

In preparation for a trip to Las Vegas, I read an article in Esquire online called How to Dress in Vegas. The outfit the article suggested for daytime at the casinos included a pair of minimalist brown leather sneakers. Naturally, the specific shoes they showed were a big-name brand at a cost of $540. Hoping to find a pair of shoes that looked just like the ones in the Esquire photo, I located these Jousen casual business fashion sneakers. I was not disappointed. They look as good as the $540 shoes at only a tenth of the price. In fact, they may be the best-looking shoes I have ever owned--way classier than the Sketchers I bought a couple of years ago. It is amazing how these shoes are simultaneously dressy and casual. I was complimented on them the first day I wore them. And they are quite comfortable. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.
