The Nike SB Dunk Low “De La Soul” is a collaboration between the old school hip-hop group and Nike SB on the popular low-top skate shoe. De La Soul and Nike SB also released a green-based high-top Dunk colorway in November 2005, and like that popular shoe, the colorway seen here is inspired by the album artwork of De La Soul’s “3 Feet High and Rising” studio album from 1989. The shoe’s semi-translucent overlay panels feature hand drawn flower graphics that contrast the white leather base. A white patent leather Swoosh resides on either side of the shoe and yellow “Nike” branding is embroidered on the heel. Head shots of De La Soul members Posdnuos, Trugoy, and Maseo are incorporated into the look of the forefoot and heel overlays.

I bought for my brother and he really liked the design. It is important to note that the Heel of the shoe makes the shoe appear to be a bit longer than it is. The heel is also slightly elevated. My brother is normally a 10 so that’s what we went with but it was tight slightly so we returned and decided to go up a whole size. Even with the size mixup, my brother was very happy with the shoe and style.

Love the shoes! Good cushioning, fit foot well, which is often challenging due to having a narrow foot. Shoe doesn’t have a moveable tongue, and is a little heavier than comparable shoes, but an excellent value!

My husband loves this sneaker. What a relief as he is the most difficult guy when it comes to buying shoes. According to him, they never fit right. These sneakers look very nice right of the box. The insole is memory foam, so they are very comfy.

I am an 8.5 6-8E (US mens shoe size), which is an extremely wide size. These, at 8.5 5E are among very few shoes that are almost wide enough for me without being crazy long. They also breathe very well and seem well built. That said, the glued-in insole is terrible and my feet hurt right now after spending most of the day on my feet, which has been the trend for the 2 months I've had these.

My husband has been very pleased with these shoes so far. His shoe size is an 11, but depending on the shoe, he's had to wear larger sized shoes on occasion. However, these 11's fit him comfortably. He really likes the absence of shoe laces. The bungee cord laces does an adequate job of keeping the shoe tight, though it cannot be easily adjusted. Most sneakers come with really long laces and my husband always ends up cutting the excess off, so he's happy not to have to deal with that. These are a neutral looking shoe that he can wear with casual khaki pants. They are very comfortable to wear for extended lengths of time. It seems like most sneaker shoes are either brightly colored these days or plain black or white. It's nice to see an alternative to those.
