Like the "Pantone" and "Rainbow" packs, Jordan Brand created the 2009 "History of Flight" collection to be a themed set of sneakers meant for display only. The shoes seem well made and are very comfortable. I always insert orthotics in shoes, so I'm adding my own support. These are my first ever pair of shoes with elastic laces. They're difficult to tie. But, I'll keep using them for now. The climate in my area is very mild, so it won't be a tough test site for these shoes in hot or rainy weather. Good initial impressions.

New Balance makes such nice and affordable shoes. The material does get dirty easily and is hard to clean unless you have the "show cleaners." Pretty sure people can find a crafty way to DIY clean these without having to buy a shoe cleaner, I just have not taken the time to see for myself.

The fit is great as I have fat feet. I have tried custom sport shoes and Skechers is a better fit and has a much better price point. Already order a second pair.

If you’re looking for lightweight shoes. . . These are not for you. They have a weight of 13.33oz each. The heavier weight is due to the fact that the sole is rubber, and not plastic. The sole is certainly non-skid. There is nice padding on the footbed, and “reasonable” arch support. Unfortunately, there is very little padding around the ankle area. But the overall construction is fine.

I hate it when a listing, such as this, shows “Made in the USA or imported”. Believe me. . .Very few shoes are Made in the USA. . .. These. . . Like soooooooooooo many others. . . are Made in China. At the current price of 100 bucks, they are at least 75 bucks overpriced. But you’re paying a high surcharge for the brand name. Granted, these shoes are much better than the super cheap Chinese shoes you will find on Amazon being sold by Chinese companies.
