The Clot x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Net Orange Blaze” is a three-way collaboration between Edison Chen’s Clot streetwear brand, Chitose Abe’s high fashion line, and Nike on the hybrid shoe. A Fall 2021 release, the “Net Orange Blaze” marries Clot and Sacai for a take on the shoe that combines Nike’s LDV and Waffle Racer styles. The “Net Orange Blaze” colorway looks to Clot’s “Kiss of Death” Nike Air Max 1 for design inspiration, namely that shoe’s maroon, orange, and beige color scheme. The upper features a translucent base contrasted with beige suede overlays and layered Deep Red and Net Orange Blaze leather Swoosh logos. Two sets of beige and orange laces appear over the Deep Red and Net Orange Blaze nylon tongues. “Nike Sportswear” with an orange Swoosh appears on the green nylon tongue tag of the top layered tongue while Nike, Sacai, and Clot logos are found on the tongue tag of the underlaid tongue. Additional co-branding graces the heel. Underfoot, an orange elongated midsole with a gum outsole completes the look. Release date: September 14, 2021
