The Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY” is as quintessential of a New York City summer shoe as it gets. The Air Force 1 Low is an icon in the streets and playgrounds of all five of NYC’s boroughs and, now, Nike Basketball honors the city’s renowned outdoor basketball courts and playgrounds with removable tongue patches and branding. As far as the design of the shoe, premium white leather appears on the perforated toe, mid-panel, and heel. Contrasting black leather Swooshes grace either side and “NY vs NY” detailing in black lettering can be found on the heel. Famed courts where some of the summer's top competition takes place, like at West 4th in Manhattan and Dyckman in the Bronx are given a shoutout on the velcro patches. Release date: July 17, 2020.
