The Air Jordan 13 “Lucky Green” draws favorably from the team uniform colors of one of Michael Jordan’s fiercest rivals during his playing career, the Boston Celtics. In the spirit of Ray Allen’s Jordan 13 PE, this “Lucky Green” colorway displays the luck of the Irish throughout its design, beginning with a green nubuck on the mudguard, heel, and collar. The rest of the upper is outfitted in white leather with dotted embroidery. Branding hits include a black Jordan tag with green lettering on the throat, an embroidered green Jumpman on the white leather tongue, and a holographic emblem on the collar. As a working stiff, not a suit, jeans were my go to pants from my teen years until I retired in my mid-60s. For all that time, Levi's were the gold standard for jeans. Once I retired, I shifted from jeans to sweat pants or gym shorts, depending on the season. Those have a very relaxed, comfortable fit that goes well with being an old retired guy. So it's been a while since I've worn Levi's products. I was delighted to see that these shorts adhere nicely to that company's standard of excellence.

These shorts are well made, with a hefty, durable feel to them that I really like. They feel more like sweatpants than jeans, which means that they are very, very comfortable, with a relaxed fit that I also very much like. I put on a clean pair of shorts every morning, wear them all day, then sleep in them that night, and then change them in the morning. That means the two most important things to me about a pair of shorts like these are their durability and their comfort. These seasonal sweatshorts score better on both counts than any other shorts I own atm. You can be sure that these will be my go to shorts from now on.

I bought these for my husband for Xmas...he normally wears a size 11 so I bought him an 11.5 just to be safe (because I know Toms can run a little tight). Well, I had to exchange them and get him a 12 because the 11.5s were still too tight. Other than that they’re super rad shoes!
Definitely recommend buying a size up!

I love Keds Kickstart sneakers. This is my third pair. These run very true to size. I measure 5.5 and on the upper end of a medium width. I usually size up to a 6 in all my shoes, and I did this with my first two pairs. That was a mistake. Even though I wear no-show cotton socks with these, the 5.5 is perfect. If you wear your sneakers barefoot, definitely do not size up!

If the kickstart feels narrow to you, pull the laces out completely, gently stretch them open, put them on you feet, stand up in them, THEN loosely lace them. Within a week, they will start to stretch, and you’ll need to tighten the laces all the way down.

I really like the black slub satin. There’s a subtle sheen to the satin, and the plush velvet laces are just the right touch.
