The Air Jordan 5 “Regal Pink” is a colorway of Michael Jordan’s fifth signature shoe that draws inspiration from springtime holiday with its use of pastel colors. This May 2022 release of the vintage basketball shoe by Jordan Brand is designed with a Regal Pink synthetic nubuck upper and translucent netting on the sides. eyelet panels. and lower tongue. The silver reflective tongue features a tonal embroidered Jumpman logo. Jordan Brand nods to Easter by arranging the sock liner in an array of pastel colors that call to mind the look of dyed Easter eggs. Elsewhere. the Jordan 5’s classic sharktooth detailing on the midsole appears in white with blue speckling. A green-tinted translucent rubber outsole completes the look. Release date: May 27. 2022

These shoes have a weight of 13.61oz so they are quite heavy, as sneakers go. That’s because the sole is made of rubber and not plastic like the ultra lightweight shoes are. The upper portion is canvas. There is firm padding on the footbed and nice arch support. There is firm padding around the ankle. These are slip on shoes have a loop in the back to make putting them on easier.

These shoes are made in China. At the current price of ninety-five bucks they are well over twice the price they should be. But overall I like them.

This is my second pair of Lisbon shoes — I also have the brown ones.

Unfortunately I had to order three pairs of the brown ones before I got a pair that didn't have wrinkles or lumps along the side of the footbed. Vivobarefoot appear to have worked out the quality control issues, because this black pair is really comfy, with no lumps or deviations in the footbed.

The shoes appear quite durable, are comfortable for a mile or two of walking, and take a shine well.
