The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Jewel “NYC - Cool Grey” is a Fall 2021 release by Nike that honors New York City’s fondness for the retro basketball shoe with unique branding. The ever-popular “Cool Grey” theme that notably appeared on the Air Jordan 11 back in 2001 is the color of choice for the leather used on the shoe’s upper. The design’s lifestyle aesthetic is enhanced with a milky, jeweled Swoosh on the sides and graffiti-inspired “NYC” embroidery on the adjustable ankle strap. Additional “NYC” branding is printed on the nylon tongue tag alongside old school “Air Force 1” detailing. A small white Swoosh is stitched onto the toe. The Air Force 1 Mid Jewel “NYC - Cool Grey” is inspired by classic Air Force 1 Mid releases from the mid-to-late ‘90s that honored New York City. Release date: November 1, 2021

I ordered two pairs of these because I have never been able to get them before. I was thrilled, but they never came. There was apparently something wrong with the shipment, so I contacted customer service and confirmed with them that they would not be redelivered. So I ordered another two pairs. A couple days later, they showed up and I was very happy. Two days later, another two pairs were on my doorstep. I'm not complaining because I had 4 pairs of sneakers that would last for at least 14 years.

Puma Liga is one of my favorite sneakers. I've owned several pair. They are fairly stylish, simple and comfortable. The build is sturdy and all the materials come together for a pretty well made shoe.

Very comfortable straight out of the box. I wear mens 5.5; I ordered Euro 39 (mens 5-5.5) and these are just a little long in the toes. But the toe is a little pointy, which accounts for the perception that they are long for the size. The arch support is in exactly the right place. The heel cup and width are great, soles are comfortable. The color and look is great, I can wear these with jeans on the weekends or with wool trousers at the office. And the traction on packed snow is pretty good. The only thing I would like to change, I can't. I do not much care for the wide, flat shoelaces. To me they look a little sloppy on these shoes. But the forward eyelets are thin slots, so your options are limited in replacing the laces.

I like these shoes. They might be my only pair of reeboks. The leather is soft and the shoe goes really well with jeans.

These take a little bit of time to break in, they start off pretty tight compared to other pairs of Romas I've owned. That said, for the price, these are pretty sweet.
