The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Homer” is a classic colorway of the skate shoe that is inspired by Homer Simpson’s outfit on “The Simpsons.” The “Homer” was released back in January 2004 and pays homage to the popular cartoon character by using the colors of his clothes, as well as his skin tone, on its design. Specifically, the white leather base is contrasted by University Blue suede overlays on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and heel. A medium yellow suede Swoosh is found on either side of the shoe. Green “Nike” detailing is embroidered on the heel tab and green “Nike SB” insignia appears on the tongue tag of the puffy white mesh tongue. The “Homer” is one of two “Simpsons” inspired SB Dunks from the early 2000s, the other being the “Marge Simpson.”

Great shoes, i will be replacing the soles of the shoe. I do love these shoes, they were much more comfortable than my converse for walking around in on vacation. I will be finding some better inserts to walk around on though, I thought the memory foam would have been a little more comfortable, but they were still great. K Swiss will always be my favorite, even if this white color wasn't the best choice for walking around New Orleans.

Comfortable and love the gore tex. The boost on this shoe is not as soft/springy as other boost models. But still a great shoe. True to size but could go half size down to make sure snug fit since there are no laces.

The styling is fine; the fit is as expected. The memory foam bedding is defintely comfortable and as a walking shoe in summer, this is a great option. Best suited for casual wear/walking around town/walking. Though lightweight, its utility as a primary shoe for running/jogging is limited, IMO, nostly due to concerns on how well the foam cushion and stitching can hold up for regular use. Overall, at this price point, a good value for walking/casual sneakers - the "performance sneaker" may still be true, but it will significantly reduce the life of the shoe.

The shoes are true to size. For those who have wide feet and are used to buy half size up, it will fit ok. Unfortunately, because the clothes is so soft, you will see your toe poking out when walking. Not a problem for normal width feet I am sure.
