Thirty years is a hell of a milestone, especially when you're discussing a shoe as iconic as the Air Max 1. The 1987 release, masterminded by Nike design god Tinker Hatfield, is just as potent today – whether it be an OG colorway's return or a fresh, innovative collab. Here's an example of the former with the Air Max 1 OG "Royal," which hit retailers again for Air Max Day 2017 (the official 30-year celebration). This is a nicely made driving shoe for occasional use. After all it is only an $80 shoe, just what you would expect from a shoe priced in this category fit was about 1/2 size more than a normal street shoe; and about a 1/2 size less than my normal New Balance size (NB runs one size more than normal street shoes)

The trim outline of the shoe aids in driving small sports cars with narrow clutch/brake areas.

They are not amazing quality as you might expect for this price. IF you buy the right size, they are great shoes. They get dirty very quickly but that's with any white shoe made of canvas type material. If you buy half a size too small as I did, the tightness may damage the shoes a bit faster. They are holding up so far after about 3 months, but are not that clean anymore. I have started seeing some sole damage. The sole grip isn't great either.

For the cost/drip ratio, you cannot beat these kicks.

Surprisingly comfortable for an inexpensive shoe that some may consider only for aesthetics.
If you are concerned about creasing the toe, buy toe cap protectors at the same time as it (crease) will show after very little use.
I bought toe caps and it's kept it straight with no loss in comfort.

I always get tons of compliments on these shoes, and they feel great.

There are some minor craftsmanship details that look rough on close inspection but, nothing most people would ever notice and I nothing I would have any issue with for the price.
I have seem similar shoes for 10x the price, and you would not know the difference from 1m away.

I will likely buy another pair to store away, for whenever these end up wearing out.

Still getting used to the updates, but fair warning, these are the squeakiest scrunchiest damn shoes. The tongues rub and the shoes fart with every step. I went after them with my olive oil sprayer and all is well now. I'm a few months in and I still have to reapply from time to time.

Not quite the Tru-Fit arch was a little too tight had to loosen up the shoestrings quite a bit toe area ( big toe ) was a bit snug.

Good shoes - I enjoy them. They are absolutely flat so there is no arch support. If you are bothered by walking without the support you won't enjoy these, but they look and feel good otherwise and I can wear them all day. I wouldn't try and run in them!

These are far more comfortable then typical canvas sneakers, but they offer a similar casual look. The sizing is very accurate, so order your normal size, regardless of whether you plan on wearing them with or without socks.

I've seen some reviews mention that they run narrow, but I don't agree. Compared to your typical canvas sneaker, they actually run wide and probably run wide compared to many other sneakers, as well. They have very ample toe room.
