The Nike Air Max 1 LV8 “Dark Teal Green” is a premium version of the retro running shoe that trades the model’s original mesh and suede construction for a leather composition. An April 2021 release by Nike, the “Dark Teal Green” is arranged in a tri-color design similar to the original color block of classic Air Max 1s. Moreover, the “Dark Teal Green” succeeds the release of another Air Max 1 LV8 (or “Elevate''), January 2021’s “Obsidian” colorway. White tumbled leather appears on the toe, forefoot, and collar. Grey leather contrasts the design on the forefoot, mid-panel, and heel. A Dark Teal Green leather Swoosh resides on both sides of the shoe. The same green detailing appears on the buttery leather mudguard. A “Nike Air” logo is stitched onto the heel and a clear Air bubble can be found in the heel of the white midsole. This same company offers similar shoes without laces. Personally, I prefer the laces; though the laces are more for looks than anything. Though you can tighten the laces some. . . These are really pull-on shoes.

These shows are quite light. I have the size 8 and they have a weight of 6.9oz. They are very “breathable”. The sole is non-skid. It actually has “Wild Gripper” written on the bottom.

There is nice padding inside. Also nice arch support. Though there is no information. . . I’m assuming they are washable, due to the type of material.

These shoes are Made in India.

This is my second pair of Lisbon shoes — I also have the brown ones.

Unfortunately I had to order three pairs of the brown ones before I got a pair that didn't have wrinkles or lumps along the side of the footbed. Vivobarefoot appear to have worked out the quality control issues, because this black pair is really comfy, with no lumps or deviations in the footbed.

The shoes appear quite durable, are comfortable for a mile or two of walking, and take a shine well.

The Columbia Fairbanks are comfortable, supportive, and have a good sole. The grippy sole is the most important part of a shoe for me, since I have an older individual wearing these sneakers, and avoiding slipping/falling is super important. The shoes are worn for daily walking about and work well for that.

The arch support feels great; there’s no foot fatigue at the end of a day wearing these. The mesh is breathable, but doesn’t block out any water, including puddles.

The sizing is true to size.

The look of the wide lacing is a personal preference (not a big fan) but definitely makes putting the shoes on and taking them off much easier than a narrow-tongued sneaker. Overall, the look of the shoe isn’t too athletic, so it could be worn in a variety of settings if you’re looking for comfort/support.

I got these for my hubby, who is a diabetic and has to take great care of his feet. We used to use a different brand but these Skechers are way better than the ones he had! Along with the good cushioned socks he wears these shoes are super for a diabetic, highly recommend them. By the way I bought them via "Amazon .Wardrobe" and loved it!
