The Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Barons' takes inspiration from Michael Jordan's time with the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The legacy silhouette sports a black tumbled leather upper, accented with radiating stitched lines and bolstered with a lizard-textured mudguard in Wolf Grey. Jumpman branding appears on the tongue and heel tab. Performance benefits include a lightweight Phylon midsole with full-length Zoom Air cushioning and a carbon fiber shank plate.

I READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING. MOST WERE POSITIVE AND I FOUND THAT WHAT OTHERS SAID WAS TRUE. THERE IS AN ARCH IN THIS SHOE. THERE IS NO ODOR FROM WEARING THIS SHOE. IT IS STYLISH AND LOOKS GOOD WITH SHORTS. I WEAR ALDEN BOOTS. I NEEDED SOMETHING BESIDES ALL MY RUNNING SHOES FOR A CRUISE THAT I AM TAKING THIS MONTH. GREAT SHOE...NO PROBLEMS.

Love the shoes, but first pair very narrow and had to be returned. My husband's feet are average to slightly narrow width. Had to get a full size larger.

These are definitely the real thing, and I was able to get them cheaper here than anywhere else after sales and coupons. Fit is true to size - if you've never worn Converse, they will feel a little snug at first but stretch after you've broken them in. I never like the laceless slip-ons, but these look great while still being easy to get on and off.
