Nike Dunk High "Bodega - Friends & Family"

The Bodega x Nike Dunk High "Friends and Family" is an unreleased version of the collaboration between the New England based boutique and Nike on the retro basketball shoe that was given to friends and family of Bodega. The “Friends and Family” is based on the “Legend” colorway of the high-top Dunk created by Bodega, a style that “recaptures the mystique and feeling of discovery that once accompanied every special edition sneaker.” As you can see, the “Legend” accomplishes that. Various cuts of premium leather designed to mimic the look of baseballs, baseball mitts, or even a saddle or well-worn boot can be found on the collar, mid-panel, and toe. Rawhide lacing can be found between the mid-panel and heel and on the collar and heel. A jeweled tortoiseshell Swoosh graces both sides. Overall, the mostly grey sneaker evokes a classic “Americana” aesthetic with rugged leather details.
