The COMME des Garcons x Air Jordan 1 High “Black” is one of two colorways of the renowned fashion house’s bold spin on the Air Jordan 1. Coming off the heels of a string of notable collaborative efforts between the Japanese label and Nike in 2018, CDG returns with an ode to biker culture for their first release with Air Jordan. The iconic Jordan 1 is transformed with a monochromatic premium black leather upper adorned with chrome buckles, rivets, and silver O-rings reminiscent of punk and goth aesthetics. An extra high tongue, belt-like ankle strap, and silver studs comprise the details exclusive to this collaboration. Release date: Fall 2019.

Okay, these are (or appear to be) all cloth, even the soles. Mine are pretty tight fitting but I’ve bought other slip on type shoes that seem to fit just right and after wearing them for a bit then there too loose, so I’m hoping that after I wear these, they loosen up a bit and for just right.
What I DO like is they are light weight and due to the cloth soles, my feet breathe much better than wearing rubber or plastic soles slippers.

As with almost every shoe I buy, I go a size up or two since they usually don't accommodate for wide feet, but they are absolutely amazing to wear if you're just upgrading from any basic retailer shoe from payless, footlocker, famous footwear, etc. If you have a drastically low arch, you may be looking for something more support as well.

I deal with almost no arch at all and it's a start but you might want a larger support since it feels really small for me, I'm a size 11.

I am a huge Chuck fan - BUT I have flat feet, and can wear them comfortably. My husband and daughter cannot. I feel like most people that wear Chucks do so because they want to make a "fashion statement" at the cost of their feet... I just need them for my flat feet - and thus every 10-12 months I order a pair of Black Chuck Taylors, works for me!
