The Nike Air Max 1 LV8 “Dark Teal Green” is a premium version of the retro running shoe that trades the model’s original mesh and suede construction for a leather composition. An April 2021 release by Nike, the “Dark Teal Green” is arranged in a tri-color design similar to the original color block of classic Air Max 1s. Moreover, the “Dark Teal Green” succeeds the release of another Air Max 1 LV8 (or “Elevate''), January 2021’s “Obsidian” colorway. White tumbled leather appears on the toe, forefoot, and collar. Grey leather contrasts the design on the forefoot, mid-panel, and heel. A Dark Teal Green leather Swoosh resides on both sides of the shoe. The same green detailing appears on the buttery leather mudguard. A “Nike Air” logo is stitched onto the heel and a clear Air bubble can be found in the heel of the white midsole. My son shattered his ankle last spring and after a long road is finally back to work. I gave these to him to try out as I'm not a huge top fan. He said the fit is perfect. Quality is first rate and amazing comfort. He also said the support these provide was amazing. He is in and out of a delivery can all day and often has to walk up and down several flights of stairs. Even after a long 12 hour shift his feet were (specifically the broken one) not tired or sore. He loves these sneakers. His only complaint was that the white gets dirty very quickly.

Fine shoes, after wearing for a few days (will update later if problems arise). I wear orthotic insoles and the insoles that come with these sneakers are easy to remove and replace.

As of this review I don't know how much these shoes cost so I have to rate based on construction and comfort alone. I like to incorporate cost when I can but can't this time. These shoes are extremely light weight and seem to be very well constructed. I don't know how they will hold up when worn while running, but for basic comfort they feel good. They have a bit of a lower ridge in the inside where the toes go and I'm not sure if I like that yet or not. It does give my toes something to sort of grip. The laces allow me to tighten them up since I have a narrow foot. I like the colors and they have a nice, sleek look about them. They don't feel good when worn without socks because of some scratchiness so if you like go sockless you might not like these shoes. But when worn with socks they are very comfortable. These seem to be true to size.

I ordered a size 13 I felt like a size 14 I pretty much always wear a 13 in all my shoes. A very shiny shoe as for Comfort I didn't really wear them because they were just too big they look like I had clown shoes on.

I was looking for a pair for barefoot-no sock wear. I wear a 10.5 with socks. For barefoot use, I prefer the 10 that typically fits out of the box. That didn’t happen here. The shoes in barefoot are cramped and stiff.

These are short in the toe and flops a blister on the heel. The sole is quite rigid. No doubt, the heel/sole could be solved with a double-sock break-in. With just one pair of socks, the toe is really too tight and the heel is still hot.

Otherwise, the shoes look great.
