Designed by Carissa Navarro, who was born without kidneys and survived in the womb with the help of her twin sister, the bold Doernbecher Air Jordan 12 features a black and hot pink colorway with a marbled sole. The Air Jordan 12 DB also includes a few of Carissa’s favorite things: her stuffed dog Max on the outsole, a picture of her family inside, and a slice of pizza on the laces.

I love these pumas - the suede upper is soft and flexes during walking, running and driving. Seems to have good ventilation and keeps the feet dry even after walking and wearing them all day. The grey color hides dirt and I can wear these with anything from jeans to shorts to khakis pants.

The fit is great - they are very comfortable and they look sharp! Good, sturdy soles - good for so much more than driving - although they would definitely be good for long trips. With all the crazy innovations in tennis shoes (sneakers), it’s nice to have a pair that are just the basic design - but an extremely well-made version. These look like they will last forever!

I love the look of these shoes. Bought the gray slip on, women's size 7. Fit is perfect, very lightweight and comfortable. I didn't give a 5 only because I have not worn for an extended period of time. Will resubmit review after the "walk" test.

Love how easy and comfortable these shoes are. Thought the toe box was not high enough for my toes but I put some marble eggs in them for a week (they are smooth and heavy) to stretch the toe area up some and this worked great. Don't know why the shoe maker thinks our toes taper down--nope! Still love them though!
