The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Signal Blue” dresses the mid-top version of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe in a clean and casual look reminiscent of the popular original “UNC” colorway. Appearing slightly darker in shade, the glossy Signal Blue leather panels on this Jordan 1 Mid nonetheless evoke the primary team uniform color of Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the UNC Tar Heels. Smooth white leather detailing can be found on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel and collar. Jordan Brand adds blue contrast stitching to the border of the black leather Swoosh branding on either side and places a black “Wings” logo on the collar. Black laces are layered on top of the blue nylon tongue. A black liner and black Jumpman on the tongue tag finish off the look.

These shows are great to add a titch more style to an outfit than more typical sneakers, but they're still super comfortable. My feet don't typically require tons of cushion or arch support, so i caution those with bad feet or those who run a lot to maybe avoid these. I used to be a 50-60miles per week runner, and personally, i had to avoid these type of flattish-arched shoes or my feet would get sore / injured quickly. However, for the couple miles per day I walk in the city these days (in these shoes) and the 10 miles i run per week (not in these shoes), they work perfectly. Highly recommend

one reason was that it was darker than expected (I ordered the natural white), it was closer to a very light tree bark than to the color white (would look great with jeans, though), the other was that there was a $10 price drop ($47 to $37) after I recieved the shoes.
If you like the color and the price is right then I recommend them

I've used Palladium Pampa Hi Originale Canvas Boots since the late 70's for expeditions in the tropics and as an all around boot for hiking and yard work. Sturdy, good fit, light weight. Over the years, my only complaint (as I aged) was a lack of insole cushioning. This is easily and effectively solved using Scholl's Performance insoles (~$40 here on Amazon) to provide the cushioning my feet (& knees) now like. Combined, there isn't, to my mind, a better boot for casual and not-so-casual hiking. Add some beeswax waterproofing and you're all set with a good water repellant boot that you'll enjoy until you wear them out and buy another pair. . . .
