This review is based on trying them on once.

I really like this shoe. It's very comfortable for an "old school sneaker", It has a removable insole with surprisingly good arch support and more cushioning then you'll find in a typical canvas sneaker. They're also very soft and won't rub your ankles raw. Unfortunately, I can't justify keeping them, but I find it difficult sending them back, because I like them so much (i.e. only so much closet room for shoes.)

The sizing is very accurate. They may run a little on the large side, but that's what I'd want, so I could wear them with heavy socks in Winter months. So, I disagree with those who suggest sizing up or down, because they're actually quite accurate (they're definitely not too small and I don't think they're even close to being too large, either.) The Teva brand used to run all over the place with sizing, but the last few pair I've owned and have been really consistent and accurate.

I didn't try them on a bike, but I suspect that they're very good bike riding shoes, because the soles are quite firm. In fact, I would have liked them better if the sole wasn't so firm, but I expected them to be firm as bike riding shoes. Overall, I think they're very nice sneakers, but I'm looking for something a little more fashion oriented.

This is the THIRD pair of these bought for hubby. He is 87 now and still walks MILES daily and loves these shoes. He has a hand problem, so the velcro straps are absolutely the perfect thing for him. These are very smart looking as well as comfortable and functional. Highly recommended by us.

Again another comfortable shoe by New balance, size 13 fit perfect. I'm very stylish shoe. Lightweight. I've only had one pair of New balance shoes that actually were absolutely horrible I returned them. But all other 15 pairs including this one are dynamite.

I haven't worked out in these Shoes as of yet, so I don't know how workable they are yet, because I just recieved them a few days ago. The Shoes are very Comfortable, Soft Insoles and they give great Support. I Highly Recommend Buying These Shoes. One thing, order one size bigger they run a little small. We had to send them back to get a 10-1/2 Size instead of the Size 10. Other than that they're a Nice Shoe.

These shoes were purchased for my husband to wear in the house. I searched for a slip on sneaker with a white sole. He was pleasantly surprised with the fit and comfort. He’s very picky about his shoes. No complaints. They appear to be made very well. True to size. He wears a size 12 and the 12 fit perfectly.

I have never mail-ordered shoes before but my son loves his Van's. He found the style that he liked on Amazon and then ordered one shoe size larger than the ones that fit now. And it seems to have worked out perfectly, he is set, in the shoe department, all ready for his start as a freshman next month!!!!

If you’re looking for an extra wide shoe this is it. Easy slip on elastic fabric let’s your foot in and keeps it in without worrying you’ll walk out of it. True to size heel to toe. Love the width for my pancake feet. Very cushiony like walking on a mattress. Hopefully it will last. As a slip on, the fabric is very breathable which helps keep my feet cool or at least not as hot and sweaty as a traditional sneaker. Very happy with my purchase.

These take a little bit of time to break in, they start off pretty tight compared to other pairs of Romas I've owned. That said, for the price, these are pretty sweet.
