The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Starfish” is a refined look for the mid-top version of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. A February 2020 release from Jordan Brand, the “Starfish” colorway of the popular Air Jordan 1 model is a subtle nod to a classic and very rare shoe in Michael’s footwear line: the Jordan 1 High “Metallic Orange.” The “Starfish” doesn’t feature any metallic leather detailing like the “Metallic Orange,” though its blazing accenting does evoke a certain nostalgic feeling. Crisp white leather can be found on the perforated toe and mid-panel. Contrasting Pure Platinum leather overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets, and toe cap. Both the nylon tongue and laces are finished off in the same shade of grey. A Starfish leather Swoosh logo appears on either side of the shoe. The fiery orange hue is used on the collar and sock liner. Final details include black Jumpman branding on the nylon tongue tag and black outline “Wings” detailing on the collar. Release date: February 2020.

For the cost/drip ratio, you cannot beat these kicks.

Surprisingly comfortable for an inexpensive shoe that some may consider only for aesthetics.
If you are concerned about creasing the toe, buy toe cap protectors at the same time as it (crease) will show after very little use.
I bought toe caps and it's kept it straight with no loss in comfort.

I always get tons of compliments on these shoes, and they feel great.

There are some minor craftsmanship details that look rough on close inspection but, nothing most people would ever notice and I nothing I would have any issue with for the price.
I have seem similar shoes for 10x the price, and you would not know the difference from 1m away.

I will likely buy another pair to store away, for whenever these end up wearing out.

My dad just raved about these shoes again. He's had these sneakers since December 2016. For the past ten years he's never had a pair of shoes that lasted more than half year until he met these. This one made it well past and he feels it will last more months to come. Another plus are the velcro snaps; his hands are not as nimble so the Velcro is perfect to secure his feet into the shoes. He is so happy with these, he's planning his next pair; he requested to get these same shoes next time he needs a new pair but in the color black and half size smaller.

I have a hard time finding shoes to fit . I've got small, wide feet so my shoes are either too short or too long. These fit great, heavy duty but very comfortable!

I really love this shoe. I've had two pairs so far, because I liked the first pair so much I had to order a second. I haven't had any problems with wear and tear, and I wear mine every day. They're light and breatheable, which is something that I always have a hard time finding in shoes. My first pair got me through a rainy spring without any incidents, despite the super breatheable in-soles that I thought were going to be a problem. They're as water-tight as any other casual sneaker. They might seem a bit stiff when you first put them on, but they break in really well. Can't wait to get another pair.
